n response to the growing demand for English-medium education in Korea, Korea International
School (KIS) provides a US-based curriculum for students in grades pre-K through 12. KIS is a seprate
but affiliated organization of YBM. KIS students are foreign-passport holders residing in Korea and Koreans who have returned from abroad, having studied in English-medium schools. A variety of tests and assessments are administered to prospective KIS students for admission and placement. The syllabus for each student is determined in accordance with the results of their test performance. Teachers at the school, many of whom have experience in other international schools, are certified by departments of education in the US and have demonstrated competence in the grades and subjects they teach.
